Does the server now disconnect idlers?

Postby admanb » June 26th, 2009, 11:07 pm

I have a tendency to idle on the server, and I've noticed recently that a lot of time I'll come back and will have silently disconnected. My client thinks I'm still connected, but I'm clearly not. I haven't noticed this happening when I'm in an active room, so I'm wondering if the server has added idling disconnects, but without notifying the client. Anyone else notice this?

Nothing has changed recently in the server code. Does this happen
consistently for you? After how long?

It's hard to tell, since it only happens when there's nothing for me to pay attention to, I usually don't notice. :) I would guess after a half hour to an hour, consistently.
