I found this inside the HTML source of the forums:
<link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="RSS"
href="http://www.vassalengine.org/forums/smartfeed.php?u=2&p=mcecp26intnNm8ulatLP1Z3Gx6GazpnVoZKYz26hm6Y=&feed_type=RSS2.0&limit=LF&sort_by=standard&lastvisit=1&max_word_size=All"
/>
I just don't know how it is supposed to work.

It looks like there's some support for RSS feeds on this forum. But
I'm not quite making sense of them. It appears as thought the feeds
require some type of authentication. And they might only show the
postings I haven't yet viewed via the forums. Is there a RSS feed for
all posts?
Really? Where? I thought that RSS support for phpbb was done through a
plugin (like the mail bridge).
