Hi. Is it possible to d/l vassal on iPad Pro?

The real sticking point is that iOS does not support Java.

However, it looks like there is this
http://www.virtualfirefox.com/java-for-ipad
which provides at least some measure of Java support.
Whether it would be enough to run Vassal is something I don't know, though.

I see no reason you couldn't download VASSAL with an iPad, but you won't
be able to run it there, as there's no Java for the iPad and all
released versions of VASSAL as of the time I'm typing this require Java.

It's part of my plan for VASSAL 4 that we will release an iOS version of
VASSAL.

And when can we expect Vassal 4? I've been doing lots of travelling lately so access from my iPad would be very helpful.

My plan is to first relase a series of technology demos. A full release
will follow those.
