Dragging pieces onto the map (Mac 10.13.1)

Postby Sassaie » December 14th, 2017, 3:47 pm

Model: MacBook Pro 13 inch, 2016, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports
OS: High Sierra 10.13.1
CPU: 2 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 8GB 1867 MHz LPDDR3
Video: Intel Iris graphics 540 1536 MB
VASSAL: 3.2.17
Java: version 8 update 151
Module: Last Chance for Victory 1.04; but problem seems to arise with all modules, eg Rock of the Marne 1.3; Dead of Winter 2.02.

Problem: I cannot move pieces from one ‘pool’ to the map - specifically, I cannot take reinforcements from the pool/schedule and place them on the map.

Example: Load LCV 1.4. New game offline. 7.1 Traditional Start. Observer. CSA Piece window. Attempt to drag RE Lee piece onto the map - no can do. But the markers tray and all other functions seem to work well. So I can (for example) access the markers tray and drag a ‘cowardly legs’ marker straight onto the map. This problem seems to occur with every module on this Mac, even if I load an older version of Vassal - as someone suggested.

Help!

Many thanks,

Andrew

Did this actually work for you, Sassaie? I'm having the same problem with two modules (PanzerBlitz & VASL). I think the problem is High Sierra 10.13.x.
