Starting up Vassal on Mac

I have an associate who has the following problem on a Mac:

However, I accidentally delete some files and now I can't run vassal anymore.

I have tried to d/l it again but for Java web start, it just stuck in the "waiting for data" screen (see attached). And when I try manual download (I use a Mac). The VASSAL.sh file opens as a text file (see 2nd photo attached).

Do you know how I can solve this problem? Thanks a lot.

VASSAL.sh appears to be opening as a textfile when he double clicks on it.

VASSAL.sh appears to be opening as a textfile when he double clicks on

Either:

- download my Mac .app bundle from http://software.pelican.org/vassal/
- Wait for 3.1 and Joel's auto-building Mac bundles
- Rename VASSAL.sh to VASSAL.command

OS X is slightly schizophrenic in this respect - while in the shell,
everything works like you'd expect UNIX to; while in the GUI, it neither
follows shebang covnentions in scripts, nor associates .sh files with
Terminal.

Macs have a problem with the jar-updating part of Web Start. He can fix this by clearing the temporary files in the Web Start preferences.
