Can text be added to maps?

Can text or other "overlays" be added to a map AFTER it's imported? Maybe some sort of overlay, like the hexes are added? Just wondering...

Sure - create a blank At start basic piece, make up your graphic/text image
and put it on a layer. Give the piece properties of Does Not Stack, Selected
- never, Can be moved -Never. Position it where you want, and after that its
just like glue stuck on the board from then on
