Editing an extension in the new Vassal versions

Postby Donegal » December 27th, 2009, 8:52 am

I remember the older versions of Vassal had an edit extension option but I don't find it in the last version. When I start vassal a screen with the module library appears with ope/edit/new module but nothing about extension..

You do that in the Module Library.

Before you can edit an extension, you need to activate it for the module. In your Module Library, pick the module that the extension is for, then right-click and pick Add Extension.

Browse to the extension file, select it, and the extension will be activated. The extension will appear beneath the module in the list.

Now, in the Library, you can right-click on the extension itself and pick Edit...that'll open the extension editor.
