Installing on Windows7 x64?

I can’t even run the installer, it tells me “the version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you’re running”.
Can someone help me out? Thanks!

Which installer did you download?

I could only find one version: VASSAL-3.1.17-windows

When I try to execute the installer, I immediately get that message. It doesn’t even run the windows installer.

What version of windows7x64 are you using? I was able to install it without a problem on win7x64 professional.
