Newb question re: Altering a window type

Postby hexrunner » May 13th, 2014, 4:05 pm

I've been working on streamlining some original modules I created a while back. Unfortunately, on one of them, instead of using a [Map Window] for the main map, I utilized a [Private Window]. I have no idea why I did it that way at the time but there it is. Is there any way in which to alter that private window to a map window so that I can dock it or will I have to reenter all the information there under a new window?

No need to reenter, you can copy all the content of the private window to window -- not all of it at once, but one by one, but it should speed up the whole process considerably.

Ahh. Thank you. I thought I tried that and it wasn't working. Maybe I was trying to cut and paste instead.

C-C/C-V may not work, use copy/paste from the Edit menu.

Yeah, I see what I did. Evidently I was trying to copy/paste to the wrong subdirectories within the window. Thanks for the help.
