Cannot Save Module Extension

I’m trying to make a small extension for the Gladiator module, and I can create it, put things in it, and save it the first time. Then activating it and running it with the module works fine. However, when I make further changes to the extension and go to save it again, the window freezes and nothing is overwritten.
I was using v3.2.13 when I discovered this, and updating to v3.2.15 did not help.

Is there a minimal set of steps you can give for reproducing this?

  1. Create a new extension
  2. Save the extension
  3. Close and reopen Extension Editor (or just make a change and hit Save again). Any subsequent saves just freeze the window, and I have to use Task Manager to close the Extension Editor.
