I’m trying to download Vassal, I had it a year or so ago, but a new version is here.
I have an apple machine, not happy with it for other reasons.
Processor 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics AMD Radeon HD 6630M 256 MB
Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63)
When I download the file and attempt to open the download it tells me a new version is available - download it? On and on and on. Its’ a loop and I can’t get out.
What have I done wrong.

Thanks for the reply. I’m barely computer literate so please bear with me, and apple doesn’t seem to show the ID bar like a PC does.
It’s the same Vassal site that I did a search for, and that I found this forum from.
The program file has downloaded, and I have a game module I downloaded, but by choosing the module it takes me back to the page that says a new version is available

What do you mean by “choosing the module”? Choosing it it how? In what?

I think he’s talking about this link:

From this page:
sourceforge.net/projects/vassalengine/files/

It puts you in a never ending loop.

When you try to use the direct link (downloads.sourceforge.net/projec … 1437810307)

It just takes you to this URL:
sourceforge.net/projects/vassalengine/files/
