How do I get the extensions for PanzerBlitz/Leader to work. I’ve downloaded them. They’re in the VASSAL file on my PC. But when I click add extensions I get “VASSAL was unable to write the file ‘C:\Program Files\VASSAL-3.2.15\Pzb-Pzl36p08_ext’.” What am I doing wrong?
You should never store modules (or extensions) in C:\Program Files\VASSAL–this is where the program itself lives. Your modules and extensions should be placed almost anywhere else on your computer where you have standard write access. Your home directory (C:\Users<your-login-name-here>) is a good place, your “My Documents” directory, etc.
