How do I get the moved marker on a piece to rotate with the piece?
Think of a Vassal piece as a layer cake. The Basic Piece is the plate at the bottom and the other traits are layered above the Basic Piece in the order they appear in they appear in the Piece Definition Window.
Any particular trait only affects the layers that are below it (i.e. that appear above it in the Piece Definition list). To have the Can Rotate trait rotate the Mark When Moved marker, the Mark When moved layer must be below the Can Rotate layer in the cake (i.e. the Mark When Moved trait must appear ABOVE the Can Rotate trait in the Piece Definition Window).
