Anyone using vassal on a small notebook screen?

Postby genebrecht » December 14th, 2018, 11:48 am

Is it possible to use vassal on a small 12.5" notebook screen with a screen resolution of 1366 x 768? Is this screen size too small? I am looking to purchase a small 13" notebook and would appreciate any advice in order to be able to play some vassal games on it if possible.

It is certainly possible to play on that size screen. Not too long ago that
was a desktop screen size.

It may more depend on which module you want to use and how easily a game
plays with more scrolling.

If you currently have a computer for Vassal, you can always resize the
window to 1366 x 768 and see what it is like to play on that size screen.

I have played on a netbook before, but it's kind of a pain. It depends on the module, but it should be doable if a bit cumbersome at 13".
