AutoImage Installation

  1. Download the File:Autoimage.zip.
  2. Unzip the AutoImage.zip archive to find two directories:
    • AutoImage - The Class files
    • Source - The Source
  1. Unzip your module file:
    • Change your module file from Name.mod to Name.zip.
    • Unzip it.
  1. Copy the AutoImage folder from AutoImage.zip into your unzipped module.
  2. Edit the buildfile in your module.
    • Find the file named buildfile inside your unzipped module folder.
    • Edit the buildfile with any text editor (NotePad, WordPad, Word, Macwrite)
    • Change the third line from: <VASSAL.build.module.BasicCommandEncoder/> to <AutoImage.CommandEncoder/>
    • Save the changed buildfile backinto the unzipped module folder.
  1. Rezip your module file
    • Use a Zip utility to rezip your expanded module file back into Name.zip.
    • Make sure that you do not get an extra level of folders inside your zipped module. Open it up and make sure you can see the buildfile.
  1. Optional: Rename Name.zip as Name.mod.
  2. Import AutoImage into your module:
    • Start your module.
    • Right-click on the top-level [Module] component. ]
    • Select Add Imported class from the bottom of the menu.
    • At the Enter fully qualified name of Java class to import prompt type in AutoImage.AutoImages and click OK.
