Scenarios Each of the following pre-defined set ups are based on, either, the original RBDE map ONLY (aka Standard) or the standard map + the Finnish Expansion map (with "Finnish Exp.Map"). Where possible counters are either set up on their assigned hexes, as a stack to make free set-up easier, on the turn track when they are released to enter the game or on the OOB card for that side & scenario.
-The 5, 7 and 10 turn Tournament Scenarios are based on the Standard game OOB and rules so there is no "separate" scenario VSAV file created. The 1942 Fall Blau scenario and the 1944 Downfall scenario have dedicated OOB cards and so have dedicated pre-defined set ups for the Standard game map.
- The 1943 Zitadelle Historical Study has been updated for the Finnish Expansion and so is set up on the Standard Game map + the Finnish Expansion map.
- The Turkey Units are assigned to a "Neutral" side (read- the Solo, Axis & Allied player), because of the nature of the Vassal "Side" system. This means the owning side does not have to exit & re-enter the game as a "Turkey-playable" side. Everyone just has to be aware that any side can manipulate Turkey's counters.
- The Historical Set Studies are set up on the Standard Game map.
The Finnish Expansion - Uses the Standard Game map with the Finnish Expansion map attached. - F.0-RBDE + Finnish Exp has a "Base Game" (no counters set up) and an "Initial SetUp" predefined set up version.
- F.0 The Continuation War, has a predefined set up on the Finnish map ONLY, with just the "At-Start" counters placed.
Some map items (eg Oil Wells, Major Cities, etc...) have a RT-Click feature to produce the necessary counter or change allegiance.
Before starting your game check the status of the War Economy. Oil Factors, Reinforcement scheduled counters and supporting elements of your chosen scenario.
