Map window 'floating'/separate from main menu window

Hi

Is the map window supposed to be in a separate window ? ie maps are not 'attached' below Menu as per other Vassal modules but is a 'floating' window that is superimposed above the Menu/Log window ??

If not how do I fix if possible ?

I have no idea who modified version 1.15. They did not communicate with me prior to doing it. Hoping that person will sometime let me know all that they did.
