Who is this?

I am an overweight middle-aged male in Plymouth, UK.

Personality-wise I have suffered with Bipolar Disorder with Psychosis. In the past this has made me unreliable, sometimes overactive, and sometimes with uncontrolled temper. As of 2020 I am trying my best to control myself, keep on an even keel, and remain on medication and stay in touch with outside help. Anyone reading this who has fallen foul of me in the past has my sincere apologies (really - I have done so much damage to myself and others, and it's so hard to fix).

Why am I on VASSAL?

I am an ASL player, but currently I am using VASSAL to play Britannia PBEM and GCACW by myself (I have the games, but it's easier to store on the laptop).

Gaming History

In the distant past I played Warhammer Fantasy, and have done WFRP. I have then concentrated on board wargames. But I will play anything.

I like to produce variant versions of games, and I am a rules explainer and fixer.

I contributed to the design and playtesting of the FFG version of Britannia (known as Britannia II).

I occasionally and unreliably ran a PBEM tournament for Britannia, under the name Sacred Grove.
